Full-time Sous Chef

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Sous Chef to work at Grand Lodge, located at 4400 South 80thStreet, Lincoln, NE 68516. Grand Lodge has 109 independent and 10 assisted living apartment homes. Schedule for this position will be 11:00am-7:00pm Tuesday through Saturday (including holidays).

This position will pay up to $25.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available.

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of cooking experience above the level of fast food or fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 19 years old required.
