SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Responsible for conducting participant intake and exit interviews, assessing suitability for group participation, and coordinating with advocates, probation officers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and service delivery. Plans and coordinates weekly group sessions, attends multidisciplinary team and probation meetings, and maintains accurate and timely documentation in the agency's electronic health record system, including attendance, progress notes, intakes, and discharges. Facilitates both daytime and evening group sessions, with evening programming extending until 8:30 p.m.

Compensation: between $21.80 and $25.98 per hour (wage is determined by total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week including one or two evenings until 8:30 p.m.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Domestic Violence Experience
  • Domestic violence Intervention (DVIP) training preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license/acceptable driving record
  • Group facilitation skills preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • *Co-facilitate the Choosing Non-Violence Group for Men.
  • *Assist in developing group topics.
  • *Complete required documentation in timely manner.
  • *Maintain good working relationship with local probation departments
  • *Provide referrals as needed
  • *Maintain required records.
  • *Maintain confidentiality.
  • Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
  • *Maintains regular, prompt attendance at the office on a consistent and reliable basis.
  • Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • *Creates, maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • *Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • *Essential functions of this job is to be performed on company physical work site.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned.
