Using sound banking practices, the Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for processing mortgage loans for the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare all early loan documentation. Conduct all necessary procedures for loans in process.
Works closely with lenders communicating decisions and requirements. Interact with the customer when necessary.
Intermediate knowledge of loan processes.
Conduct all necessary processing for post-closing requirements.
Perform general clerical duties including computer operation, file maintenance and supply requisition.
Assist & Cross train with the Retail Processing Manager to maintain consistency in absences.
Insure that loans originated are in compliance with all bank and regulatory policies.
Exhibits professional behavior and promotes positive working relationships. Practices WCB values and supports the goals and strategic plans of the Bank. Conducts personal finances in a manner consistent with the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct. Accountable for continuous best efforts to complete the job assigned

Required:

High school education or equivalent.
Secondary market processing experience, including FHA, VA, USDA and NIFA.
Ability to read, interpret and understand financial information.
Professional image.
Ability to be coachable and learn new skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Desirable:

2-4 years of secondary market processing experience, including FHA, VA, USDA and NIFA.
5 or more years of secondary market processing experience.
Previous lending experience.
