Hematology/Oncology Physician

Medical Center is looking for a Locum Physician to fill their Hematology Oncology need! - $450 Hourly

• Board Certified - REQUIRED (Board Certified in Medical Oncology is required. Board Certified in Hematology is preferred but not required)
• Fellowship trained in Medical Oncology/Hematology - REQURIED
• ACTIVE IA License - REQUIRED
• Supervision of APP's - REQUIRED

Schedule:

• On Call: Dependent on Locums/Part Time Providers Number
• Medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 2 OP at secondary clinics (no transplants), and 3 OP days per week at primary clinic. IP coverage of both sites; APP will cover for provider.

• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Services/Procedures offered in the practice: Patient assessments, new treatment plans, ongoing treatment plans, changes in therapy, referral for ancillary services, end of life care, chemotherapy management, pain management (radiation and surgical oncology management provided by existing providers with strong relationships)
• Clinic Provider daily volume: 10-30
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-15 Primary, 5-8, Secondary
• Appointment Length: 20 mins.
• Patient Demographics: Primary Clinic; Medicare/ Medicaid/Commercial; Secondary Clinical; Commercial, Medicare
• EMR: AllScripts- moving to Epic in late May 2025
