Position Overview Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a
Family Medicine Physician to join the team at
St. Maries Clinic . This physician will provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.
This position offers the opportunity to practice within a

Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive
primary care evaluations and physical examinations • Diagnose and treat
acute and chronic medical conditions • Manage common conditions including:
• Diabetes
• Hypertension
• Cardiovascular disease
• Respiratory illness
• Preventive and wellness care
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Perform minor procedures when appropriate
• Provide patient education regarding disease management and prevention
• Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
Schedule • Monday Friday outpatient schedule
• Standard daytime clinic hours
• Shared call rotation ( if required)

Qualifications • MD or DO degree from accredited medical school
•
Active Idaho medical license or eligibility for licensure
•
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine • Current
BLS certification upon hire • Ability to obtain
ACLS certification within six months Skills & Experience • Experience in
primary care or family medicine preferred • Strong clinical diagnostic and treatment skills
• Ability to work effectively within
multidisciplinary teams • Commitment to delivering
high- quality patient- centered care • Familiarity with
Joint Commission standards and clinical quality initiatives
